I'd be interested to know about the design and quality of the chassis and motor... Pretty certain it has the same chassis as in the 'Junior' diesel which I used some time ago on a project. If you have a Bachmann steam model then the chassis is recognisably constructed on the same lines. Neat cast block, plastic motor mount screwed on which a three pole can motor is clipped into, and a two stage reduction to the driving wheels, plastic keeper plate underneath which carries neat wiper fingers hidden behind the wheels.
